It's grasshopper season in Kigali. They are everywhere! In the house, up the walls, in my hair.
They're a delicacy and everywhere you go you find legs hanging out of bushes where the local kids are trying to reach in and collect them. Apparently they're deliciouse fried. I asked a friend 'Don't they just hop out of the pan?', he replied 'once you rip off their legs and wings, they're fine.' I did want to try them, but after hearing that I've changed my mind.
Sticking to pizza with the gals.
And cocktails on the lawn. Moscow Mules with ginger ale, vodka and lime.
And a yummy slice of Christmas cake from home. Cheers fam.! Can't believe it's already December. Did a bit of Christmas shopping the other day but have no idea how to post the stuff home - no jiffy bags or packing options at the Post Office.
